Financial Literacy


The Women of Color Alliance was contracted by the Women's Bureau, Department of Labor, out of Seattle, WA to train women in financial literacy. This training focused on starting a savings account, debt reduction, credit card payments, and getting bank loans for small businesses. Agencies that participated in these trainings were; Head Start, Idaho Migrant Council, Domestic Violence Shelters, Northwest Children's Home (Young Girls 13-18 years old), and WOCA membership.
